Cheap and last-minute cruises from Mobile

A low cruise fare from Mobile is a starting price for one person in the cheapest cabin listed, with taxes and port fees included. This guide shows where the low fares are on our schedule, what Carnival adds on top and what we can and cannot say about booking late.

What is the cheapest cruise from Mobile?

On 4 November 2026 the lowest starting fare from Mobile was $378 per person, with taxes and port fees included. When we wrote this on 4 November 2026, the lowest fares on the whole schedule were Carnival Valor's 6-night Bahamas trips of 29 August and 12 September 2027, which call at Celebration Key and Bimini.

Which cruises from Mobile cost least per night?

The 8-night Bahamas trips, when we checked. On 4 November 2026 the lowest fare per night on any sailing from Mobile was $49, and on a round trip $49. When we wrote this on 4 November 2026, that low was Carnival Spirit's 8-night Bahamas trip of 28 November 2026, which also calls at Key West.

Most sailings from Mobile are 6- or 8-night Bahamas trips, so that is where most of the low fares are. The Panama Canal row includes Carnival Spirit's one-way voyage to Seattle, which is cheap per night but leaves you on the other side of the country, so add a flight home before you compare it with a round trip. Which months are cheapest for a cruise from Mobile?

For Carnival Valor, August and September 2027, when we checked on 4 November 2026. Those months had her lowest fares and lowest fares per night, and June 2027 the highest per night. On Carnival Spirit, the trip of 28 November 2026 had the lowest fare per night on the schedule, and her March 2027 round trips some of the highest.

April 2027 and February 2028 are missing because nothing leaves Mobile in either month on our schedule. March 2027's lowest per night is the one-way voyage to Seattle, not a round trip.

What does a cruise fare from Mobile include on this site?

Every fare on this site is per person, for the cheapest cabin listed, based on two guests sharing, with taxes and port fees included, and shows the date we checked it. The cheapest cabin is usually an interior. On some sailings our record shows only the lowest available fare, without the cabin type, so check the cabin before you compare two fares.

Booking sites do not always show the same total. When we checked on 4 November 2026, Cruisebound's page for Carnival Valor's 20 November 2027 sailing gave its interior fare per person excluding taxes and port fees, so a figure you see there can sit below ours for the same cabin. Its page for Carnival Spirit's 11 January 2027 trip showed only a balcony fare.

Cruisebound's page listed breakfast, lunch and dinner, water, juice, coffee and tea, shows and entertainment, and the ship's amenities as included in the fare. Drinks packages, gratuities, Wi-Fi, specialty dining, spa packages and shore excursions were listed as add-ons.

Why do cruise fares from Mobile change?

Because a starting fare is the cheapest cabin still for sale. When that cabin sells or the seller changes its price, the starting fare moves to whatever is cheapest next, and that can be a different cabin type. Each fare on this site shows the date we read it, and the seller's page has the current price.

The date of the sailing matters as much as the timing. On 4 November 2026 the highest fare on the schedule was $1,362. When we checked on 4 November 2026, that was the 8-night New Year trip of 26 December 2026, and the Thanksgiving trip of 22 November 2026 had the highest 6-night fare. How much do gratuities and extras add to a cheap Mobile cruise?

Carnival's recommended gratuity was $17 a day for each guest in a standard cabin and $19 in a suite when we checked on 4 November 2026, for every guest aged 2 and older. For two adults on a 6-night trip that is $204, by our arithmetic, whatever the cabin cost, so it weighs most on the lowest fares.

These were the other daily costs on Carnival's page on 4 November 2026:

• Service charge. Carnival adds 20% to drinks, specialty dining and other paid food.
• CHEERS! drinks package. $83.94 per person per day bought before the cruise, or $89.94 on board, with the service charge included. Every adult in the cabin must buy it if one does.
• Soda only. Bottomless Bubbles was $14.38 per adult per day and $8.34 for guests aged 17 and under.
• Wi-Fi. Plans started at $20.40 a day bought before the cruise, for the Social plan, or $25.00 on board.

Carnival said on 14 October 2026 that from 1 December 2026 its drinks packages and Wi-Fi plans will be priced by sailing length, itinerary and season, so these daily prices will not hold for every trip. You can prepay gratuities online until 11:59 p.m. ET two days before sailing.

Parking and getting to the terminal are extra as well, and Carnival does not sell airport transfers for Mobile sailings. The parking guide and the airport guide cover those costs.

Are last-minute cruises from Mobile cheaper?

We cannot say. This site started recording Mobile fares in November 2026, too recently to show how a fare moves as sailing gets closer, so we will not guess which way yours will go. What we can show is today's list: the last-minute page has every sailing in the next 60 days with the fare we last checked.

That list is not uniformly cheap. When we checked on 4 November 2026, the next 60 days held both the lowest fare per night on the schedule, Spirit's 8-night trip of 28 November, and the highest fare, her New Year trip of 26 December. Comparing the last-minute page with the cheap cruises page compares different sailings, not one sailing over time.

What cruises leave Mobile in the next few weeks?

Carnival Spirit's Bahamas trips, every weekend from mid-November through the holidays. The next departure on our schedule is 14 November 2026, and there are 3 in November 2026 and 4 in December. They alternate between 8-night trips that call at Key West, most leaving on a Saturday, and 6-night trips that leave on a Sunday.

CruiseTimetables also lists Carnival Spirit leaving on 8 November 2026, on a 6-night Bahamas trip to Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay. Cruisebound was not selling that date when we checked on 4 November 2026, so it is not on our schedule. Ask Carnival if it suits you.

Plan around one long gap. Spirit's last departure from Mobile is on 29 March 2027, and nothing leaves again until Carnival Valor's first trip on 15 May 2027. The season guide shows what leaves each month.

What should you check before booking a Mobile cruise at short notice?

Your documents first. On a round trip, Carnival accepts a birth certificate together with a government-issued photo ID, and everyone aged 16 and older needs an unexpired photo ID, so you need not wait for a passport. The cruise documents guide covers which Mobile trips need more.

Carnival's deadlines come close together for a late booking:

• Online check-in. Carnival says it must be done by midnight Eastern time before your sailing date.
• Bookings in the last 24 hours. Carnival says guests who book within 24 hours of sailing go through a secondary screening.
• Gratuities. Online prepayment closes at 11:59 p.m. ET two days before sailing, so a very late booking pays on board.

Does Carnival publish its own offers for Mobile cruises?

We mention a Carnival offer only when Carnival's own pages state it. The latest we found was FunPacks, bundles of Wi-Fi, drinks and other extras that Carnival said cost 35 to 55% less than buying the items separately. Carnival sold them only from 13 to 30 October 2026, for sailings from 31 October 2026 to 31 December 2027.

That window has closed, and none of the Carnival pages we read on 4 November 2026 named a current offer for Mobile sailings. Check Carnival's booking page for your sailing before you buy extras one by one.

Does this site sell cheap cruises from Mobile?
